Make A Wish!

Kamran & Daddy joined the fun and helped Mommy make a wish for her birthday!

Looks like Kamran is eyeing cake instead of his bottle....dessert before dinner - wonder who he gets that from!

And while Daddy took Mommy out for a nice dinner, Ami Fui came over to babysit her favorite nephew.

Mommy was even more spoiled later in the week when her two favorite guys (well Kamran supervised) not only cooked a delicious dinner but also breakfast over the weekend! I wish it was my birthday every day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Thanksgiving festivites started early in the week with a delicious dinner made by Chris Fua!

Than we set off for Nani and Nani's place in L'burg on Thursday to celebrate. Unfortunately Kamran didn't stay awake to join us as we enjoyed all the yummy food Nani made. But he's looking forward to tasting her fabulous meals once he's old enough! Mommy and Daddy were thankful for the those few extra hours of sleep in the morning while the grandies enjoyed quality time with Kamran.

The weekend included a trip to see some of the holiday decorations AND a visit with Santa!

Kamran borrowed Daddy's phone to place a call to Santa asking him to save a spot for him since he's been such a good boy this year!

We tried to get it out of him, but Kamran wouldn't reveal his holiday wish list. For Santa's ears only ;-)

And finally, some adorable shots of Kamran under Nana & Nani's Xmas tree

with his new furry friend.

A Night Away (for Mommy) and Lots More!

In early November, Mommy spent her first night away from Kamran for a work related event. That meant Daddy flew solo and had his very own first night alone with Kamran. Much to Mommy's relief the house was still standing when she returned! ;-) To help Mommy get through those two days away Daddy and the teachers at daycare sent lots of pictures to my phone to keep me going.

A few days later, Kam spent Saturday with his Dadi and Ami Fui while Mommy and Daddy went to the VT/MD football game.

And on Sunday we visited with Uncle Basil, Auntie Soma, Kadyn, and his newest buddy, Devan, the next day!

As for other developments during the few weeks, Kamran has started sleeping through the night. It took me a while to take this step. We used to give Kam his last bottle of the night at 11pm to "top him off" as Daddy says. That used to be my feeding (while Daddy takes the morning feeding). I miss the extra cuddle time, especially since Kamran doesn't seem to want to sit still these days.

Kamran also started baby purees at the beginning of the month. We decided to start him on yellow foods first....squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes (just in time for Thanksgiving!). Introducing these first few purees should take him through the month. He seems to be enjoying them so far! We will probably move him to the green purees next. Can't wait to see how he reacts to those!

A Quiet Fall Weekend

In addition to enjoying the gorgeous weekend weather, we met up with The Woodcocks for brunch. A meal with 3 toddlers and an infant proved to be interesting! The Woodcocks have twins and a toddler all under the age of 4. They sure made it look easy! In between entertaining all the kids we had a good time catching up and enjoying some yummy food!

On a completely separate note, I'll part with a glimpse that Mommy has increasingly become more scared about.....Talk about looking into the future!

5 months!

Stats:
~12lbs

Kamran looks more and more like a boy than a baby to us. Every week seems to bring new changes which keeps us on our toes and laughing all the time. Kamran makes waking up in the wee morning hours for these sleepyhead parents worth it!

Some more recent pictures....

Happy Halloween!

Taking after his Mommy, Kamran couldn't resist digging into his treats quickly!

Mommy & Daddy better start putting away for this little guy's sweet tooth!

Our little Frankenstein attended a family event for Daddy's cousin on Saturday evening. We decided to join the little monster and get into the spirit of the holiday as well!

Just imagine how many kids Daddy unintentionally scared with his mask. Meanwhile Kamran loved it! Little guy might be a jokester like his Daddy.

The weekend included a visit with Kamran's great grandfather (Daddy's grandfather), Bapuji aka "The G". Kamran is the ELEVENTH great grandchild to join the group!

Now what do with all of Kamran's candy???? I'm sure we will figure it out ;-)
